MMA8451 TRIPLE AXIS DIGITAL ACCELEROMETER

Designed by Freescale Semiconductor, the MMA8451IC is a 14 bit/8bit digital 3 axis accelerometer on a breakout board ideally for the evaluation purpose. The board has unique features for sensing the type of motion among these: freefall, motion detection, pulse detection, jolt detection. The board offers other features like orientation detection (portrait/landscape), standby mode best for handheld battery operated devices, high pass filter data channelled from FIFO and self-test. The module can communicate with any kind of microcontroller board via I2C interface with working frequency of 2.25MHz.
